In second grade, I had to do a project on my favorite things. I made a poster solely about chocolate cake.
Seventeen years later, I’m just as obsessed with food. I’m constantly looking up new restaurants and then forcing my friends to go with me. Only problem is we’re all trying to live off entry-level salaries in the most expensive city in the country, a.k.a we don’t exactly have a lot of disposable income to spend on eating out. Still, I refuse to go to one more BYOB, all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant. There are inexpensive ways to eat at Daniel. OK, maybe not Daniel, but db Bistro Moderne participates in Restaurant Week.
So, I started this blog as a way to share my adventures in fine dining on a shoestring budget. And to inspire you to try somewhere new. Even editorial assistants making $28,000 a year should be able to eat at the best restaurants!
I’ll mostly be writing from New York but plan to also include my experiences in other cities. No matter where I’m eating though, you can bet I’ll be getting the best for less. Piece of (chocolate) cake.
OMG! me too! i can’t stop thinking about food (good food).
I may join your blog with great restaurants in my travels.
Hell yeah Nat!
YESSSS I love this. And you’re hot. I love that too.
Natalie:
